Spending at Least 3 Days in Hotel in Sydney

HI guys,

As part of my interstate move I'll be spending at least 3 nights in a hotel in Sydney while waiting for my stuff to arrive.

I'd like to stay at the Sofitel Darling Harbour as a treat, but frustratingly no real deals to be had there at the end of Jan, does anyone have any tips?

Alternatively, any other great 5 star hotel experiences to recommend?

  • Might be hard as they don't publish it but find out which are doing quarantine and avoid them.

    • Are any five star hotels doing quarantine for the government?

    • +2

3 properties in the CBD that I know are doing quarantine are: Four Points (Sheraton), Hilton and Mertion suites Sydney. Also, my understanding is that if they are doing quarantine they are not open to other customers.

  • Check out Qantas Luxury Hotel offers for all-inclusive packages. There are only two for NSW right now, but previously there were a lot of other hotel deals too.

  • The QT was doing 15% off summer stays when I last looked a couple of weeks ago (not sure if it's 5 stars though)

    • QT still does have a promo on now - is it good?

      • Have a look at the rooms, it has a bit more character and is also close to the main shopping strip of Sydney. It doesn’t have views (from memory) nor a pool however it has a really good spa attached :)

        • Yeah I had a look. It's nice, but however dang the darling harbour hotels are expensive even now!

  • Hi mate, there are packages at Hyatt Regency Sydney from Luxury Escape

  • Meriton Suites Kent St - Studio Luxury Suite - 5 Star - $386 NZD for 3 nights at the end of Jan

I stayed at their World Tower location and loved it
