Where to Buy Some Quality King Single Bed Sheets?

Hi, recently bought some 1000 thread count queen sheets from Canningvale and love them.
Also bought our 2 sons sheet sets from Canningvale and they are soft but super thin.

The 1000tc available for king single beds on their site were cotton/polyester and we only want 100% natural fibre.
We are after some heavier weight like hotel quality but just can't seem to find anything at a reasonable price.
The 2 sets of KSB size are going back to the retailer for a refund.

I'm hoping someone out there has bought some good quality heavy grade sheets and can give me some advice.

Regards,
David.

Might find an answer on similar threads posted in the past - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/Bed%20Sheets%20type…

  • Could you just use double or queen sized ones, the same as the ones you have and like, on the KS bed?

    • Hi, the ones we love for our queen are great quality but they didn't have that type in king single.
Could use larger as the fitter sheet would be too big.

  • can't really help too much, but the Canningvale Mille 1000 Thread count sheets are excellent.

Bought the sheet set, loved them so much I also bought the doona cover.

Thicker and smoother than my Sheridan 1000 TC sheets/doona cover. .

FYI, most hotels use a cotton polyester blend but feels very nice. 100% cotton would crease too much.

Not 1000TC but try this commercial grade sheet set. Thick, durable and 100% cotton. Need to wash it a few times as it's stiff new. https://in2linen.com.au/in2linen-hotel-quality-100-cotton-sh…

    They have King Single.

    • Thanks for the info.
We actually bought the Canningvale Mille 1000 Thread count for our queen bed but the didn't sell them in smaller size.
Would have loved them for the king singles but will have a look at your suggestions.

    • Hi, have you had the ones mentioned in this link https://in2linen.com.au/in2linen-hotel-quality-100-cotton-sh…
They sound good for the price, I don't always trust reviews on the sellers site.

If you have had them how would they compare in thickness to the Mille?

      • Own the fitted sheets.

        Thickness, very similar but stiffer/rougher.

        Softens with a few washes.

  • For some reason, not all 100% cotton 1000tc sheet sets are available in KSB.

    A couple of suggestions below:

  • I love Sheridan 500 thread count sheets. All cotton

  • Thread count is marketing bullshit. Get genuine Egyptian cotton, which normally comes in 400TC, and it will last your lifetime and is more luxurious than any high threadcount cotton. If you're careful you can find real but cheap ones which don't carry the official seal.

    • Where abouts do you get genuine egyptian cotton without getting rorted at myer/david jones? I was looking to buy from canningvale but they're out of stock.

  • I always go here, they are in Victoria, buy local and they are the best anyway

You can also call them up and have a talk to them

    • Thanks, will check them out.

  • I recently purchased from Canningvale - Vintage Softwash Cotton King Single Sheet Set . They have been shipped but not uet received.

If you dont mind me asking are they the ones you bought?

    • I bought the "Sienna Sateen King Single Sheet Set"
They are super soft but so paper thin I don't think they will last.

The queen set we bought are perfect, very soft and very thick called the "Mille 1000 Thread count"
Unfortunately they didn't sell the King single in this size but would have loved it if they did, best sheets ever.

  • Thabk you. For letting me know..its dissapointing and inconvenient when that happens and also strange that they are not the same quality. I am not sure if ypu have bought another set of sheets to replace them but Sheridan have further reduced their products yesterday which are amazing quality.
