OzBargain is coming up to another big milestone of 10,000,000 comments. You can see the current tally at the very bottom of every page in the footer and we are about ~82,062 comments away (as of posting).

Some Stats:

The 9,000,000th comment was on July 15, 2020. The 8,000,000th comment was on Nov 22, 2019. The 7,000,000th comment was on Feb 27, 2019. The 6,000,000th comment was on May 31, 2018. The 5,000,000th comment was on August 23, 2017. The 4,000,000th comment was only on September 16, 2016. The 3,000,000th comment was in Aug 2015. The 2,000,000th comment was in May 2014. The 1,000,000th comment was in Aug 2012.

  • 1 guess per user made as a comment in this thread.
  • You must give the date of when the comment is made (e.g. 22/1/21) and the time in AEDT (2:49PM).
  • The closest guess wins.
  • The 10,000,000th comment must be published. E.G. If it's spam and removed, we will count the next published comment so 10,000,001.
  • The comment must be in a public forum accessible to all members (excludes Talk with a Mod forum, Moderator Forum, Power User Forum). We will count the next comment so 10,000,001.

The user who has the guess closest to the actual comment date/time will win $100. $50 for 2nd best guess. $50 for 3rd best guess.

      comment was made 11:54pm AEST (my local time) and mod guessed after me so I assume it would be accepted

    Having looked at the past 14 days of comment counts, it's likely to tick over on 25/1. Looking at similar hourly weekday traffic, it's likely to tick over at 10:24am. So 25/1 10:24am is my guess.
