As titled. It's very easy to find 32" VAs, but I have no idea what to look for when looking for ips. I'm in a small room, so when I have friends over, they will need to look at it somewhat from the sides. What monitors should I be looking at?

Aside from the 2 viewsonic ones, I'm not sure what else is there with high refresh rate.
Budget is anything under 1k. I'm well aware that 32" always comes at a premium. It'll be for pc and ps5. Generally, I don't play games with high refresh rate, but recently I've been getting back into doom, gears, and cod. Ips 1440p 32" is the main 3 most important factor. Everything else is bonus.
PS5 doesn't support 1440p so you'll be downgraded to 1080p. Will need a 4K screen instead, ideally a TV.

Still, the monitor requirement is the same. I don't care about the ps5 enough to buy a tv for it.

If on a tight budget Philips 345E2AE 34" however it has only a brightness of 250nits (300 nits is usually the norm). It's also just 75hz which is a fairly standard refresh rate.
The problem is that anything above 75hz in your list is actually a VA. This is why I'm asking here cause this happens all the time.

Check out the acer xb323u or asus pg329q probably what you're looking for though maybe not price wise lol.

I got a Viewsonic 60hz 1440p IPS and I thought the quality was kinda average, but comparing it to basically any other affordable IPS I've seen or bought since the quality is actually quite high. Am actually impressed with it.
Budget? What platform? What games and specs are important to you? What have you found so far?
