LEGO Ideas International Space Station 21321 $79 (Was $99) + $7.95 Shipping @ Toys "R" Us

800

Being eyeing for a deal for LEGO ISS some time now to complement my Saturn V. Flat rate shipping of $7.95 makes it little bit less desirable than the previous similar Myer and David Jones deals (here and here). But this is the current best price I could find.
Note that there is a limit of two per customer. This is also available through Hobby Warehouse here at the same price, which I think is the same company as Toys "R" Us.
Deal expiry date is not listed on either of the websites.

    Nice find OP.

Oh how I wish the Saturn V would be on sale again…

Yeah, bought mine from a deal for $119. It was my first Lego and recently got to know that you can mod it and build a Skylab Saturn V as well. Then, there is millenium falcon. I'm quickly going down the rabbit hole…
      LOL

        Welcome to the rabbit hole!

        • Just saw this for $149. Not as great as previous deals though.

    • The Saturn V I’m sure will go on sale again soon, it’s just a matter of time.

    • I wish they'd create -larger- scale kits, so we could see inside, eg, via endoscopes w/ steerable cameras.

(Of course, I'd expect the interior to be lit up with realistic indicators, etc. But… they'd surely win on the higher price, we'd likely pay for this ver. 2.0 kit.)

      • It is lego… Just build yours?

  • Now it comes in stock after my Commbank cashback offer expired! Have been eyeing this set- might just wait for it to come in stock in Myer for same price

    • Unfortunately, you can't try to price match as well since there are no brick and mortar stores for Toys "R" Us.

Myer has 20% from time to time on Lego sets

        • +3

And David Jones. I got one of these two days ago from DJ for 20% off. Free shipping there and Myer too.

  • Good piece now that NASA will decommission ISS soon

    • No they aren’t.

At least for another 7 years

        • +2

In universe chronology, 7 years is soon.

Great build! The solar panels are not stickers!
I used the light my bricks kit to light it up.
I'll then build the saturn V and have them both lighting up.

    • Thatt's bot expensive, don't you think?
I'm pretty sure there are DIY stuff, have to search them for myself as well.

        Thought so too
Until I received the package, the wiring, the chip boards, it was just too good.
They have chipboard for splitting, great set of online manual etc
Best part is the flickering rocket engines.

It was worth it for me.

      • Fair enough.
I have some experience in electronics and I think I'll go down the DIY route.

Still waiting for the lunar lander to go on sale.

I have a Ebay code for 10% off at their Ebay store only problem $110 + .
Look like nothing else worthy there .

HobbyWarehouse acquired the license from US parent company of ToysRUs which allows them to sell under the ToysRUs name.

So yes, ToysRUs and HobbyWarehouse are the same company in Australia.

This post is no longer expired, price is the currently $79. Not sure if I am allowed to make a new post however as this post is less than 1 month old.

    • At the time of that report it was out of stock. Seems it's back in stock.
I don't know whether I can change it back. Probably only mods can do it.
