Whats a Good Wireless Mechanical Full Size Keyboard?

Looking at a decent wireless mechanical full size keyboard.

I have a RK cherry brown switch wired atm and loving the feel of it. However wanna go wireless now since I just got a wireless mouse.

Any recommendation?

Need to have a good switch (Cherry)

Need to have number pad on the side

USB/Bluetooth is fine

Thanks

  • This one seems to be fairly popular. Contemplated it, but ended up going with the Steelseries Apex 7 (wired). https://www.amazon.com.au/Keychron-K4-Bluetooth-Mechanical-H…

  • My vote goes to the Filco Majestouch Convertible 2.

bit too expensive when comparing to other brand around $100-150 mark

Logitech G613. Wireless, mechanical, no stupid lights, wireless or Bluetooth and well within that same budget.

    • this one is looking good

  • I've got a xarmor u9w back in 2013, still going strong, pretty much the only wireless mechanical keyboard I could get at the time.

  • Any suggestions for a cheap quiet one? Around the $70 mark?
Wired is ok, just full size and quiet.

  • Also looking for one of this. Prefer 2.4Ghz, not a bluetooth one.

  • im looking at RK860, looking good for me

    • k4 looks good… no wifi connection thou. Whats better? Bluetooth of wifi

      • Bluetooth won't take up an extra port on your PC/Laptop, wifi usually needs a dongle.

FWIW, the speed difference between bluetooth and wifi is negligible in the real world. I think the difference has been measured by Linus at less than half a milisecond.

        • bluetooth from time to time, have some annoying connection issue. Im getting that with some bluetooth earphones

  • What's the purpose of wanting to go wireless? Is it for a desktop or a laptop?

I only ask because I have a wireless logitech g pro mouse, and a logitech charging pad, so I never have to charge the mouse. If it's for a desktop setup, the wireless keyboard gets old pretty quick, you have to charge it meaning a cable will be on it every now and then, and if you're on a desktop you probably aren't moving your keyboard around so will you even notice the wire?

Wired keyboards also offer things like USB pass through and such which might be handy to you.

I have a Steelseries Apex Pro TKL and it's a great board. I've definitely never cared about a wire coming out the back.

    • just got a g pro mouse as well. looking to go wireless keyboard just to be neater. Been wfh more often so wanna upgrade the work station thats all

      • Do you have the power play? It’s pretty sweet, then again that is wired technically hahah

        • nah…. turned off the rgb and lowered the syncing + dpi…. i use like 1% battery a day… im cool with that

  • Can't recommend the G915 enough, beyond it's astronomical price. Only wireless keyboard (ranging from $20 aliexpress keyboards to keychrons to lower-end logitech) I've had that's never missed a single keystroke, or done the thing where it'll stop typing and then spam everything you typed at once because it lost signal.
