Great glasses. I literally just finished a G&T from one when I saw this deal appear :) Best part about them is the fact you don't need coasters when using them for cold drinks… especially in steamy QLD!

    Too small, no?

    • We find it perfect when using the medium Nespresso setting including milk.
Check the updated description, found the medium size, 6 x 350ml for $49.

  • Thanks OP I missed out last time, happy to snag a set

  • Thanks OP.

  • What's the average size for a cup of coffee/drink? 350 or 250mL?

    • +1

A medium is coffee is about 230ml. A large is normal 350ml

Was in a same situation, bought 350ml cups, found them tk be too big. Had to return. This is for tea/coffee use.

It's been this price for weeks now.

Edit - Not sure why the negs. I didn't downvote, I simply stated that they have been this price for weeks, which they have. Well over a month now. I bought them in Early December and again 2 weeks ago and have kept more in my cart since. The price hasn't changed.

    • I didn't downvote you, but perhaps you could've posted the deal back then if you found it worthy? Also "brodening" stock doesn't help your case lol.

      • +2

To be honest, I didn't really think much of it as these have gone up and down quite frequently for months and stayed down for at least a week before I bought them the first time which was over 6 weeks ago now.

Any comparisons between these and the double packs that Target sell for $10?

    • My experience with cheaper vs these is that the glass is usually thinner and feel cheaply made. Bodums are quite thick.

Get a feel instore and you should be able to feel the difference.

      • -4

I would have thought thinner is better and harder to make. Riedel wine glasses are super thin yet super strong at the same time. So you are tasting the drink not the glass.

        • +3

But wouldn't the drink be touching the same surface area of the glass regardless of thickness?

          • +1

@NobalaKoba: I think Bruce takes a small bite from the edge of his glass with each sip. Probably also tasting blood as well.

    • i have both. to me they are similiar thickness, but i feel the bodium has better temperature retention. tbh i wouldn't pay the premium for the bodium 350ml. i don't think the premium is worth it over the target glasses.

I agree. Bought the Kmart set 10 years ago 4 for $10 and still getting used everyday. In fact I dropped one of them on a plate in the sink and surprisingly it came out perfectly fine but the plate was broken instead. Not worth the premium price for Bodum IMO.

  • Thanks op, great late night buy I actually may not regret!

  • I can't see it at $39

  • OOS

  • How do you clean the (internal) inside of the glass?

    • +1

Same way you would treat the inside of a vacuum flask.

Peters of Kensington has these on eBay for the same price https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Bodum-Pavina-Double-Wall-Gla…

    • Awesome thanks for that had a 10 coupon code I could add that brought it down to 29
