Where Can I Find APK Associated with Amazon Firestick?

Hi, anyone out there can help?
I've tried looking at apk pure and apk mirror but most apks are associated with the Android platform. I was wondering if anyone with the Amazon Firestick can help?

I'm after the apk file for the NHK World Japan specifically from the Amazon Firestick platform. I believe it's currently version 8.2
Ie. One would need to have the app installed on their firestick and then extract the apk file.
I tried downloading from the Amazon app store but it won't allow me to do so because I don't have a compatible device hence looking for a good Samaritan to help me out.

    No idea, but wth do you want amazon apk if you don't have a device to use it on??

      The intention is to try and side load the Amazon Apk build into my current Google version Android Tv device. Ideally because it's Android based, therefore it'll work.

      Long story short, NHK removed support for the Google playstore based Apk build but continued to developed the Amazon Firestick based Apk build. Hence the reason I'm after the Firestick version.

    I thought the amazon fire stick is an Android device (thus the APK?) or is it you're looking for a Amazon Firestick branded/developed build?

    Yeah, I know what you mean but I thought that based on past posting here, we definitely have more than a couple of ozbargain users that purchased the firestick hence maybe able to do a good deed to help out by just provide a dump of the apk.

    Also there's already a previous posting on the forum.xda-developers.com that went unanswered :(

    FYI OP @able and anybody else who wants to try and copy or rip the apk from a Fire TV Stick and then copy and install it on Chromecast with Android TV.

    I just did this (version NHK WORLD [8.8.0].apk) and it works for 20 seconds, but then a pop up message appears titled 'Amazon Appstore required' and the message 'Amazon Appstore is not installed on your device…' and the only option is to Quit.

    This happens whether you stay in Live TV or go to On Demand.
    So the NHK World won't work on Android TV unless you remove that check. Hope that helps to know at least!
