    judging from the images, I would say right to left, which makes sense if it's translated from Japanese

      Early licensed work used to have left to right by mirroring the image. I don't believe they've done that for quite some time since it's pretty much flipping the intended work.

    You can see a list of comparisons in the description posted by OP. I got a copy from BookDepository for about $30 in 2019, but it looks like the price there has jumped up quite a bit since then.
