My niece is turning 5 years old next month, any ideas on what to buy as a birthday gift for a 5yr old girl?

    1. Also works for a 27 year old man.

  • robux or similar

  • So many things, clothes, shoes, maybe even like a 3DS or a tablet

Seeing she doesn't live with you, a drumset. Or a puppy or a kitten.

    Depending on your budget…

The VTech kidizoom watch is all the rage in that age group at the moment.

Ask her parents what she’s into if you don’t already know
    Some other ideas
    Board games
Active toys (bike, scooter, roller blades)
Dolls that you can do stuff too eg style their hair, dress up etc
Craft kits, like making jewellery etc
Lego kit of a favourite theme

  • Frozen toys?

  • Thank you, some great ideas. I was hoping to buy something that is popular in the 5 year old age group at the moment, as I usually buy clothes. Thanks again!

      But what is your budget?

Eg you could take her to the frozen show at Capitol Theatre, but that can set you back $100+

My daughter loved it when her uncle took her.

Oh, it was almost a bonus present for me also, because I didn't have to sit through it, so very thoughtful I reckon 😂

  • About $100-$150

  • Scooter? Barbie's? puzzle? Clothing?

Something that pops up on OzBargain that is heavily discounted, so people think you spent a lot of money and you can look good :D

As others have said, your budget and your niece's interests are big factors.
But it's an age you can't really go wrong as far as the child is concerned - most of the time they highly value McDonald's Happy Meal toys and fidget spinners!

Depends if you want to get her more junk or something useful.

I bought my neices and goddaughter books and learn-to-tell-the-time clocks. https://www.easyreadtimeteacher.com/buy/easy-read/alarm-cloc…

  • Kids electric car is the best gift for any child. It is the best option to make your kid happy. It obviously put a bigger smile on your child face than opening adventure on wheels. It is the best birthday gift for any child either the boy or girl. You can check here for the options of kids electric cars: https://www.kidzauto.com.au/kids-electric-cars-australia/

  • Mario lego kits

  • Barbie dream house it’s $150 at Myer at the moment

  • Newspaper and clag !
