Where in Melbourne to Buy Bulk Chicken Breast?

Hey guys, I live in Melbourne north, I buy 20kg box of chicken every 2 months or so.

I Normally buy from a local butcher for 4.50kg skin on. New owners not interested in helping me.

Any suggestions where i can buy wholesale direct?

  Perhaps ask at another local butcher? Or ask at a "non-local" butcher? lol.

    Yes, but before i asked around, i was hoping i could find a wholesaler and just not have to waste time calling other butchers.

      There are places like this that do wholesale (wouldn't recommend this particular place, but if you search for poultry suppliers, there's quite a few):

  Costco has bulk (i thinl 2 to 3 kg) in vacuum bags, in 4 breakable sections
  not as bulk as u usually get it though

    It's also nowhere near that cheap a price. It's about $9-10/kg for Steggles and $13/Kg for Lillydale (Moorabin Airport pries). I'm not a fan of the quality of either brand, but I sometimes buy the Lillydale stuff, I won't buy the Steggles.

    At least in Melbourne, Costco is no good for chicken. Great for red meats though

  They actually process chicken there for wholesale but also have a retail shop
