So a month or so ago I shopped at citybeach in harbourtown, made a rather large purchase, and they asked me for my email address to send out a 25% off voucher to use next time. I gave it to them and it never came and I forgot about it to be honest.
Last week I went again and made another rather large purchase and the lady at the front asked me for my email address to send out a gift voucher for spending $x amount. I gave it to her and figured they made a mistake in my email address last time.
Nothing came!
Then yesterday I went to city beach and made another large purchase (I know a lot of large purchases is because my family love "surf brands"…) and she asked me for my email address to send out a gift voucher and I gave it to her again and as she gave me my receipt and I was walking out I heard the lady serving next to me say to the gentleman she was serving "And here is your receipt with gift voucher attached for spending $x here today"..
And it was annoying because he had only spent like $40 !! She didn't ask him for a email address she just gave it to him with his receipt.
And I looked at the bottom of my receipt and it said "Gift vouchers are treated as cash.. etc etc etc…"
Has anyone given their email address and gotten a gift voucher??
I don't know how much the gift voucher is even for but I have spent nearly $400 there this christmas on full priced & sale items so I'm thinking the gift voucher would be at least something worthwhile that I could use!?
