Removalists - moving just a fridge from Newcastle to Sydney

Heya,

Need to move a fridge, size 161 by 68 by 65 cm from Newcastle (postcode 2300) to Sydney (2032).

Does anyone have recommendations for a cheap removalist? Also, does anyone know for sure whether it's safe to transport it lying on its side?

If you turn it off/leave it off for 24 hours at each end you should be ok lying it down. I think its only older fridges that have this problem. I transported mine on its side a few months ago and had no problems (fridge 1 year old).

Not sure if it's a pricing error but on ShippingEasy.com they are quoting $11.50 for next day delivery.
