    I picked up a physical copy of Nioh 2 on PS4 yesterday on sale for $29 at ebgames which is the cheapest I could find anywhere. The base game as well as the complete edition will be getting a free upgrade in February on PS5 with support for 120fps. Will dive into it then.

      oh, so you can play the upgraded versions regardless if you buy the collection?

      Thought I read that they were doing a similar thing to DMC5 SE, where the upgrades won't be on the previous version.
      If you're correct, should go back and finish them off.

        Yes correct, both the base game of Nioh 2 and the complete collection will be upgraded for free on PS5.

        From the Playstation blog-
        Players that own Nioh 2 on PS4 can upgrade to the base game – Nioh 2 Remastered on PS5, and receive the PS5 version of any DLC expansions they own on PS4.
