just to bring light to this thread again, these were in stock at Ringwood Officeworks. there were 2 models under $385, and another 3-4 under $500. never realised how cheap these things had got!

We got one of these 3? years ago for 850, rrp was 1200 at the time. Great backup work projector. but clunky (big) compaired to the others but was still a bargain at the time.
no hdmi input on ours.
But it's out of stock…
