Which TV? 75" V 65" for HD Viewing

Setting up my wall to mount a new TV. Viewing distances of 3.2m to 4.2m. Thinking that a 4K 75" TV would be suitable with respect to distances but am concerned about the quality of HD in this larger format compared to 65". This isn't just because of the pixel density, but is also based on reviews from Choice which rate HD quality on current 65" models MUCH better than HD on current 75" models.

Not a lot of 4K content about at the moment, so maybe I should go 65 & upgrade in a few years?

Thoughts? Experiences? Advice?

LG OLED if you have the budget, Sony X900 if you don't, Chinese brands if you really don't.

  • Definitely 75 or 85 at 4m

I’d look at TU8000 - good bang for buck.

Forget HD. I don’t even think you can buy HD at those sizes anymore.

the bigger the better. i got a 75 and that was huge when i bought it. now its little, and i want a bigger tv.
don't worry about the viewing distance, that is what i followed when i purchased, and now it feels small like i'm watching on a computer monitor.
bigger is better, that's what she said :)

    • Can I buy your 75?

I will recommend 85 inch for 4.2 m and this is precisely what we have atm. Bigger the better.

  • We have Samsung OLED Q75T, fab TV.
