Got the gift card on the day, got the $10 bonus on the plan but only got 60gb data on the contracto. I ask the jb guy he said it's not on the contract but it will be fix up when the bill come through.

Anyone have signed up the deal and seeing the 20gb extra on the contract?

Anyway, now I got the bill and it only have 60gb, not 80gb.

Did online chat with telstra they can only see the plan is $69 60gb plan. Still trying to sort this out at the moment, but anyone have similar experience?

  • However, they do need to click certain buttons to add the $10 discount and bonus 20 GB, so it doesn't hurt to mention it. Shouldn't have to twist any arms though!

Looks like it's at the jb end you need to focus on. Did you accidentally twist their arm?

  • Yes I had exactly the same experience. $10 credit not applied, 20GB data not applied, plan not activated, billed in advance 2 days after signing up (and before it was even active).

Telstra and JB were both useless. Visited JB 3 times, they confirmed Telstra had the correct info. Telstra support was terrible so I raised a compliant, then a TIO case. It wasn't until the TIO case that it was resolved.

I cant wait until the year is up and I can leave them.

  • I have the same drama. chat to telstra, and they said this need to check with JB.

I had the same thing happen to me—$10 bonus applied but no bonus data. Called up the JB where I signed up and they got it sorted pretty quickly.

Update - in the online chat, they said to go back to JB, and i said JB has specifically ask me to talk to you guys (telstra) if this happen. And a few minutes later the telstra support said yes, they can fix it for me, and now I got 80GB!

So i guess either telstra or JB have the ability to fix that up. but it should be done automatically in the first place.

    • Telstra is the supplier of the service, there is nothing jb can do, they just facilitated you becoming a customer to telstra.

      • Bigboy47 and SM1LE got JB to fixed it for them.

        • Propably as an intermediary however only telstra can actually do the fixing.
