They won't sell it to you. Nice try though. lol

(I'll be kicking myself for not ordering if you do get it for that price though.)

  • I'll tell you what happened in a few days. I can afford to spend 1c from my Paypal account if only for the entertainment value. :)

  • it worked out to 24.96 i think for 1 delivered :)

    • Free delivery to my suburb though. :)

      • WHAT A RIP!! I SHOULD COMPLAIN TO DSE!!!!

  • SOLD OUT

    • I guess they cottoned on. :)

  • I wonder what happens now. Hopefully they honor it :)

  • darn it, the page doesn't work anymore. so what was it?

    • The page does load, just shows no stock. Anyway it was: Dick Smith 80cm FHD LED LCD TV 31.5" screen,HDMI x 2,WEB ONLY

  • First up, IANAL!
My understanding of the law coming out of the Dell deal a few years ago is thus:
They are not obliged to complete the sale unless they have accepted money from you. The definition of "accepted" is that they have not only received money from you, but also acknowledged the receipt of money.
ie if you get an order confirmation or payment confirmation, they have sold you the item under law. Until that stage, either party has the right to withdraw from the sale.

    • I got an order confirmation by email and Paypal has sent them the 1c so I don't know if that qualifies. It will be nice if DSE honours it, but at the very least I got an amusing dinner story out of it. I'll be an OzBargain classic if it goes through. :)

  • it was bit dearer though :)

  • DAMN!! Sold out :(
Deeky did you buy it?? I totally would have bought it if I were you…!!
