100% AUSTRALIAN OWNED AND HOME GROWN
With a passion to bring the Italian palate for fine wines to Australia, the seed for Frank’s Premier Wines was planted. As a boutique wine supplier, we are proud to say that all our Italian and French grapes are 100% homegrown in regions of Australian with ideal climate conditions.

Our mission is to offer great quality wine at reasonable prices and a number of our wines have been tasted and scored, some achieving a James Halliday rating. Unlike larger chains, we spend time sourcing exquisite wines, grown by Australian farmers. We get to know each grower, understanding their process and values and of course, wine-tasting along the way!

Rather than importing European wine, we cultivate relationships with Aussie farmers who are passionate producers of Italian and French grapes varieties. Italian white grapes grow perfectly in Australia, producing the likes of Pinot Grigio and ever-popular Prosecco. Italian red grapes are used to produce the delicious Nero d'vola and Sangiovese and the delightful Montepulciano. We find that French grapes produce the finest Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and crisp Viognier, and there’s no better grape than French red to produce Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, or a heart-warming glass of Pinot Noir.

I found this post to be really confusing:

    • "…As a boutique wine supplier…": It appears that you market / sell wines that boutique wineries supply to you?

    • "…a number of our wines have been tasted and scored, some achieving a James Halliday rating…": So, some haven't been tasted and scored? And some didn't achieve a JH rating?

    • "…Italian white grapes grow perfectly in Australia, producing the likes of Pinot Grigio and ever-popular Prosecco…": Those are (Italian) grape varieties, and can be used in those wines (or blended etc.)

    • "…Italian red grapes are used to produce the delicious Nero d'vola and Sangiovese and the delightful Montepulciano…": Again, those are grape varieties.

    • "…We find that French grapes produce the finest Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and crisp Viognier, and there’s no better grape than French red to produce Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, or a heart-warming glass of Pinot Noir…": If you want to make a chardonnay, you need to use chardonnay grapes. Same with Pinot Noir and Shiraz (Syrah). Those grape types may have originated in France, but your suppliers are growing them in Australia.
