Bose QC35II Firmware Update Available 4.8.1 Oct '20

Ozb fav Bose headphones have an update! I was just in my Bose Connect app and thought I'd just make a mention that there is a FW update out which has some promising upgrades to functionality. Personally I like the "self-voice" idea, I'm always self conscious of speaking too loudly because of the NC. Also it apparently fixes win 10 drop outs which I've experienced on a few video calls.

Features:

Self-Voice
Self-Voice is an easy way to adjust how much of your own voice you can hear while on a call. Check it out under your device settings in the latest version of the Bose Connect app.
Battery level voice prompts when your headset is using wired connection.
Examples include “battery low, please charge now” and battery level percentage prompts.
Bug Fixes and Enhancements:

Ability to set a sleep timer in wired mode.
Improved Bluetooth experience while connected to multiple devices.
Improvements to audio dropouts while connected to a Windows 10 PC and another device.
Fixes a multipoint issue with Slack
Even better SympleSync performance with our Soundbars and Home Theater Systems that support this feature.

  • Oh I have these headphones and never thought about updating them! thank you

    • No worries, hope the new update works for you. I've been using "self voice" on the Max settingball morning and I find myself no longer yelling into my headset when talking!

  • Any idea if its different firmware for the QC35 I?
