      We have noticed that customers prefer to buy fitted sheet sets only, that's why we are coping with this demand.
      We have also learnt that in most of the cases they prefer to buy a fitted sheet along with a Quilt cover which can be used without the quilt insert in summer as a top sheet.

      Flat sheets are useless, I put them in the bin or use them for cleaning and throw away.

        I prefer to wash my flat sheet regularly and cover occasionally.

          I prefer to wash myself regularly (as in, before ever getting into bed) so that it doesn't need to be washed as often. Meanwhile not having that top sheet makes sleeping far more comfortable.

          It does come down to personal preference though, so making it possible to buy sets without the (useless to many) flat sheet is a good idea. We have a bunch of them hanging out in drawers just because it seems wrong to bin them, but they're never used.
