  • The spicy ones were sold out in my local Woolies! And only the cheese ones were left (not on sale). Also saw salted egg yolk biscuits on half price as well, $2.50, for the original and spicy flavours.

    • Saw the egg yolk biscuits but not sure if any good or not..

      • Can't say either way, you'd have to try it for yourself. Not like you'll be missing out on something special though. There were also Thai coconut rolls for $2 in banana and strawberry flavours.

        • Personal opinion but the Thai strawberry coconut rolls were not that good, they were almost cardboardy but I appreciate that it had a good amount of coconut and strawberry in them. I think prefer hk style egg rolls… (Inb4 apples vs oranges?)

          • @ippy: Haven't tried them myself tbh, I didn't buy any. How would you say they compare against the "tropical fields" brand (the one normally sold in Woolies & Costco)? That one is pretty good imo.

      • The egg yolk biscuits are actually really good!

Pretty bad, really don't like it. It's Made in Malaysia. You can never trust it from the package.

That 2x spicy one is fire.

My 2c, the green tea kit Kat is usually found in the Asian section and not the confectionery section at my local WW.

Took me a while to figure this out, even the staff was initially clueless

Is the Kit Kat made in Japan or Malaysia/ Indonesia?

    • +1

It's Malaysian IIRC, they have pieces of tea leaf in the chocolate. They are not the Japanese ones

      • Thanks. I actually wonder if others care. I buy the Japanese ones.

gram for gram, the usual non bowl samyang is cheaper even at full price. but if u want the convenience of a bowl, then it should be fine

Those seaweed snacks have been on sale for weeks and weeks. I wonder if they were ever $4 at all.
