Setting up DD-WRT

Hey guys,

I'm having some problems setting up my Linksys WRT160n v3 router. I've tried some random firmware builds but the constant disconnections are driving my family crazy.

Can someone please push me in the right direction on finding builds 15693 or 15506 as recommended in http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=89309&postdays=…

Any advice from people using ddwrt or this model router would help me tremendously.

      You can FTP to the parent directory with all version using cmd or FTP surfer or any other program they all are there

    does the router work ok with its stock firmware? are you sure it's the firmware and not your adsl connection that is dropping out?

      I can't say for sure that the router ever worked on it's stock firmware because I flashed it with DDWRT as soon as I got it. All the firmware builds I've installed has worked but none of them has been stable. I have ruled out my modem being the problem because I get a stable internet with the WRT160n router turned off, but the range is terrible. Thanks for dropping me advice Mattgal :)

        You won't be able to change the modem unless you flash with standard firmware available in links in whirlpool wiki or product website
        Checkyour adsl filter and also ask your provider to test your line from dslams they can do it remotely
