Placed an order of PS5 from The Good Guys yesterday, just received a confirmation email, still no "your order is being processed" email until now, and also cannot find my order in my account.
Could anyone share the status of the order if you get further updates on the PS5 order?
I was in the first 'wave' from back in January.
Only got order details via SMS, and only got more detailed info/tracking etc. last Friday.
It arrived yesterday afternoon sometime.
I wouldn't be too worried, and you'll probably receive more info when they get more in and are about ready to ship.
OK so I actually met some issues.
Thanks to the Chrome Autofill feature, the delivery address of my order is Wantirna South NSW 2142. The Wantirna South is actually a suburb in Victoria rather than in Sydney. So I called the web order team to update the Wantirna South back to Holroyd but they told me that I need to contact my local store to update it. And then I called thegoodguys Auburn and they cannot find my order and let me contact the web order team to update my delivery details.
So I think this is maybe why there is still no "your order is being processed" email for me until now.
What a joke.
Did your order confirmation email list a store?
Everything on FAQ references a store featured and to contact them but I have no store information in my confirmation email and it’s been nearly two weeks :/
Online order confirmation email will not list a store.
There should be an email called "your order is being processed" email, which will list your store, after the confirmation email.
OK finally my order has shipped and theGoodGuys still cannot update my delivery details.
Thanks god I can update my address in AUSPOST app.
I have the auspost app and got a notification on there that it's shipped
How? They told me that they will ship it from 3rd week of Feb.

How to enroll in waiting list ?
You cant do it right now. We have it since TGG cancelled our PS5 order in early January.
i ordered last week from the SMS invite, from the waiting list fiasco earlier in the month.
my shipping says its being delivered tomorrow
i did not get any updates except for an SMS with the invoice that had the tracking number on it
