Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Full HD Touchscreen Laptop Core i7 - Any Good?

Hi all,

Just dropped my Laptop and need a replacement. If anyone with knowledge is able to offer feedback or suggestions i would very much appreciate it…

Couple of things I need/prefer…. all the usual stuff, fast as possible at low price (up to $800)
15+ inch screen
1TB Hard drive
optical drive would be nice

I'm looking at this… thoughts?..better options?

  On paper it looks amazing for that price, but have a look at the reviews. All 1 star saying that the description was completely wrong and what they received had an AMD Athlon CPU, 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. Definitely avoid.

  Check out this inspiron, seems to tick all your boxes other than the optical drive https://deals.dell.com/en-au/productdetail/7e1l

  With the LOVEKEANU code it comes down to $671, which seems like a very good price for an 11th gen i5 with the improved Xe integrated graphics.

  Only major downside I can see is it doesn't have an SSD but it has a nvme m.2 slot so you can always add an SSD.
