Printers - hard to find stock?

Was on the lookout for a reasonable AIO as I had to jettison my old 7 year old Canon one due to moving house, stocks seem hard to find? At least for the good ones? Officeworks stock looks terrible!

  • type AIO printer for sale at google got heaps of result for you to choose.

  • Just dont buy a canon mb2160… worst unit in history.

    • I had an extremely old Canon MX340. Picked it up for $30 back in the day.

    • I bought a MB5160 due to the duplex scanning and lack of ink encryption. It's been fantastic. What issues do you have with the 2160?

      • It drinks toner, when not in use.

Using Genuine toners - change toners today, dont use it, come back in 2 weeks go to use it and most will be < 50% and 1 will be empty.
Add to that the 5-10 minutes warm up time before it tells you its #@)(@#)$(ing out of ink.

it is known as the "landfill" model.

  • Try a different Officeworks.

My local one has a large range from cheap inkjets to top of the range lasers.

  • Came across this , don't know how good they are but they seem to be better than those cartridge printers.

  • Black and white AIO. Brother DCP-1510s aren't bad. There is an auto doc feeder one if you need one.

  • +1

Eventually found Epson Workforce printers in stock at Mwave and ordered there - Officeworks were pathetic.

  • AIO stock and availability varies. You may want to narrow it down to a brand and model and then try to find where it is cheap and in stock.

People will recommend what they use and find OKAY, but this may not meet your needs or budget.
