Is this a toothbrush? Seems expensive.

  • 750 for a toothbrush? What teeth are you brushing? They do look like apple toothbrushes I must admit

    • Gold teeth

    Thanks, bought 10.

  • I've been waiting for this!! But it's so pricey

  • Dammit the thumbnail shows just the brush heads… some expensive replacements. Can't imagine how much the toothbrush is. Maybe it's the ink cartridge sales model…

    • Thumbnail replaced.

  • Been waiting for this as well, glad it has finally arrived. Might wait for price to come down a bit more though

I'll buy it if I never have to go to a dentist again.

what's this world coming to $2000+ phones, $900 headphones & $750 toothbrushes, only products after a big upgrade to stay reasonably priced is PS5/Xbox X consoles

the neg is for Oral B ripping off Oz compared to US rrp pricing

    io 9: US$350= A$452
    io8: US$280= A$362
    io7: US$220= A$284

        and $800 Dyson Airwrap

        • $300 earphone?

  • What a joke. No way these toothbrushes are worth that much

A highly skilled dentist I know said that electric toothbrushes generally clean better than what most people can do with a normal one. He also said that the $30-ish oral b unit available at my chemist warehouse is all you need.

very similar with $100 oclean X pro

  • They’re just setting a high RRP because they know the street price will crash eventually…they will be $99 by Black Friday 😉

  • Not really an upgrade over the Genius X.

  • Rep, no white for the series 9?

Actually did some more research today and agree with above, US$350 RRP.
Absolutely joke AUD RRP feels criminal and misleading.
AUD$399 feels like an okay 10% off price at best.
Other than that seems like a good product

    • I just did more research too.. I've always been happy with the top of the line Oral B brushes so waited for this since they announced it, however according to reviews it's not as good as the Phillips Diamond SonicCare (or whatever it's called) so def DYOR

  • I'd assume for the price these could brush your teeth while hovering in the air. Also, the charge times are still crap, three hours. For context, $100 mid-range shavers charge in an hour. Overpriced and low value.
