Xbox Series X Racing Wheels Query

Sup bros

I recently got an XSX and am thinking a lot about getting a wheel for it for all the Forzas et al. I regret not buying the Logitech G920 when it was ~$270 or so on here some time ago, it seems like now it's back to $400 everywhere at best. Wondering if people think it would be better to get one of those Xbox One compat wheels (given they will work fine on XSX) or wait and see if XSX wheels come out at some point (dont think there are any yet) and to either get that or at least push prices down for the older ones?

  • I have a logitech g920 and works a treat. The manual shifter is worth it, a lot more engaging.
I added usb handbrake for pc use.

Also factor in the stand or desk mount for wheel.

  • How do you find the series x? Did you have XB1 before?

Yeah i got the Xbox One on day 1 in 2013 and the XSX on day 1 also. The UI and everything is just the same and there's not many games yet so it's kinda hard to comment on tbh, it's hard to say people who couldnt get one yet are particularly missing out on anything.

I would say, though, quick resume is a godsend since it basically acts as a save state, meaning all those games that only have "save spots" here and there, you'll never get caught again having to rush to find one if you are playing before going to work or something, you simply turn off the console, can unplug it, move it around, come back to it a week later and the game just resumes exactly where you left it, no need to "save" it inside the game; that is really beneficial imo.

  • I’m literally using my g920 right now on pc while I type this on my phone. I also use it on my series x and one x. Works great!

  • Logitech just released the G923. I don't think they will release another wheel anytime soon.

It's also not a huge upgrade from the G920.

I'm probably one of the minorities but I had the G920 on my xbox one and I hated it

It just didn't feel right with me

I'm a bigger fan of the thrustmaster which is coincidently on sale from gamesmen for $399

    https://www.gamesmen.com.au/thrustmaster-tmx-pro-force-feedb…

I feel the thrustmaster has better feedback and feel

The G920 felt a little too cheap for me

But again I'm a minority and happen to be the very few who dislike the G920

    +1 for the Quick Resume
That is the best feature of the console and the main feature that gives xbox the edge of PS5
amazing how you can quickly switch from one game to another and it keeps your state
