      Nah that's still not the same as a 7.1.4 setup which people who are audiophiles will try to do. Soundbar purchases are for space convenience

  Without a sub most people will be seriously disappointed with the bass that you get. I had it for a couple of months and then changed to a Samsung set up for a year. My main problem with both soundbars (and likely all of them) was the quality of music playback plus the narrow sound stage (a problem for movies to). I've just swapped back to bookshelf speakers and am much happier.

    I own this and when I got it I planned to get it with the sub. After using it for a year I’m not sure why you’d bother. Its more than good enough on its own.

  Good sound but you need the sub that goes with it for really good performance. Also no Atmos :(

  Main reason to get this at any price over $600 is for slick looks and Apple airplay support, otherwise you get a lot more for your money with these.

    Also a reputable audio brand. If you want better value for money, look at the Yamaha YSP1600 or YSP2700. Solid built & good sound for about the same price as Bose 700 but has a 9” sub.
