  • I have 3 phase power for ducted air cond, how much does that add to the price approx?

    • Hi Dazbug,

The cost to upgrade to the Fronius Symo (3 Phase inverter) would cost around $450.

Happy to provide more details in a proposal if you needed :)

    • +1

You don't need a 3ph inverter though, with this size system.
3ph inverter would be of benefit of wanting to install a larger system (due to per phase export limits most areas have)

    • Worth a read of this article. Very well summarised. More advantages to 3phase inverter than just larger export.

      https://www.solarquotes.com.au/blog/three-phase-solar-invert…

  • +2

    +$1850

    • Yep, $3,849 ($1,999 out of pocket + $1,850 Interest Free Loan).

  • What Fronius inverter model number are you supplying?
There are a few models available with differences in price and features.

    • +1

      Hi Ozdesi,

The model indicated in this deal is the Fronius Primo 5.0-1 with JKM370M-66H

  • Wish a deal this cheap with a Fronius Inverter was available in brisbane.

  • 10kw system much more?

    • +8

      about 3.4kw

    • Depending mostly on what inverter we use as well as whether it is single phase or 3phase. Would love to help you with a proposal if you sent us the requested details!

  • in NSW the government rebate is lower, is this correct?
OP can you do the same in NSW sydney ?

    • NSW have a higher Federal rebate than VIC. However, in VIC, there are state based incentives to lower the price!

We wouldn't be able to match this deal in NSW, happy to see what we can do though :)

  • Email sent, look forward to hearing from somebody!

  • why put 18 panels x 370 each = 6.6kw if the inverter only 5kw ?

    • +1

because each panel will never likely be outputting it's maximum power (also depends if they are in a single strand or double strand across two sides of the rooftop).

      • +1

Great Response! Further to this, grid operators in Australia have a limit of 5kW export per Phase. Hence, most people opt for a 5kW inverter and oversize the panels to the maximum allowable limit of 133% of the inverter size, which roughly works out to be 6.6kW.

        • +1

Actually, the export limits per phase are pretty variable depending on your area, and the 133 per cent is to do with the allowable limits before you lose the STC from the federal govt.

  • I wonder how much this would be if the gov rebate didnt exist. Certainly wouldnt be $5700!

    • +1

my recent (vic, before incentives) solar quote as $8500+ and it wasn't using a fronius invertor or 370w panels.. it was using 20x 330w panels.

    • You can Google search it yourself

      $5600++

  • Can you please confirm the total cost of the system:

    1. Solar Victoria Rebate ($1,850)
    2. STC Rebate $3,000 (?)
    3. Solar Victoria Interest-Free Loan ($1,850)
    4. Out of pocket $1,999
      Total: $8,699?

    Thanks

    • +2

      Hi mate,

      Please see below.

      Solar Victoria Rebate ($1,850)
      Solar Victoria Interest-Free Loan ($1,850)
      STC Rebate $2,886
      Out of pocket $1,999

      Total: $8,585. Hope this helps

  • Im interested on this. Going to read more reviews. Thanks

    • Always a great idea to read around! We encourage going through different panels and inverters to select whats right for you. If you need any help, we're happy to help :)

      • I am totally newbie here. Out of curiosity,
In terms of rebates, which rebates that I need to apply? And also, will this include the consumption monitor? And whats the solar panel racking brand do you use? Apologies if my questions dont make sense. Cheers

        • All great questions!

1.) Rebates are the Solar VIC Rebate and Loan which will need to be applied for. We help you with each step of the process.

2.) Consumption monitoring is not included in the cost. Consumption monitoring requires an additional Energy meter and hence costs more.

3.) We alternate between Hopergy, Powerstone and Allstar racking. Happy to provide the Engineering certificates for all of them :)

Keen to know from ozb if this is a good deal.

  • I got 18 x 370w Jinko panels along with Growatt 5kw inverter for $7472 total
After STC Rebate ($3096), Victoria rebate ($1888), Interest free-loan ($1888), I paid $600 out of pocket. Regarding loan, i roughly pay $40 per month which will go on for 4 years and can pay off sooner if you want. Fronius is expensive by atleast $1200 from what i remember over the Growatt as it is European and better replacement warranty (i think). Also I have single phase power and Tiled roof. Installed in July last year and exporting to grid since December. Made $200 in credit since then.

    • +1

Great deal! Very true about the price difference between Growatt and Fronius. Further to this, the STC rebate has since dropped from $3,096 to $2,886.

Hope you're enjoying your system :)

Try to ask the people in this group whether this deal is legit or not.

    • Definitely! Always good to get opinions and stay informed :)

  • I am going to live in my property for next 12 months. After I will give rent it.
Should I go for solar? How I'll benefit?

    • Will definitely be worth the $$ whilst you are living there. Further to this, it could increase the rental yield whilst a tenant is living in your property.

  • Pristine Solar,

What's the best you can do for a Single storey house at Sydney, NSW?

    • Hi Vjoz,

Please DM us and we can provide a more accurate quote based on your property type.

      Cheers

Hi OP, any chance to upgrade to the new Jink Tiger All Black 390W N-Type panels? How much extra would this be?

    • +1

Happy to provide more detail if needed :)

No answer from Op after numerous calls and mails during last deal…!

    • Hi mate,

I am very sorry to hear that. We are doing our best to try answer and reply to every call and email that we get. However, there are only a handful of us working and especially during covid, where we had reduced staff, it was practically impossible dealing with each and every request.

We can assure you that we are doing our very best!

      • -1

I need solar for two townhouses and a friend too need it … !!! but the kind of response I got from you is very scary…!

        • +1

I'm sure it was more useful than your response here, though…

  • Are there any deals fo SA?

    • Hi mate,

Unfortunately not at this stage. Hopefully soon!

  • +2

I can vouch for this guys. I had my system installed about 15 months ago, and they were great from start to finish… In particular the installation part.

    • Hey mate,

      Glad to hear it! :)

  • Not many Solar deals for NSW!

  • +1

The previous owner of my house had an 8 panel system installed, am I still eligible for the grants? Will the old system need to be removed or can they link up?

    • OP,

Do you know when the old system was installed? If not, if we remove the existing system, you will still be eligible for the grants :)

      • I'd have to look through the documents I was supplied but I believe 2016 or 17

  • Do you do LG Neon panels with Fronius inverter? I am in the market for solar power system.

    • Hi mate,

Yes! We currently have the LG Neon 2 350W in stock. Happy to assist with a quote.

Junko was listed as a company that uses slave labour in china. I ended up avoiding Junko for this reason "Chinese Solar Companies Tied to Use of Forced Labor - The New York Times" https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/08/business/economy/china-so…

I had a rally bad experience with Pristine from their Junko fronious deal from last year. had a day for install booked in early last year, all the covid happened which is fine. when restrictions lifted I contacted them them 3 times to get a new date. 2 weeks later I get a reply to my email. got told that someone would call me to book an install. a week later nobody did. so I call again and they say they will be doing my area in 2 weeks, so I wait 2 weeks, nobody is replying to my emails. then my solar vic rebate expired, now they contact me, they tell me they need to renew my rebate from their end and to wait for solar vic email. so I wait and nothing happens. ended up going with a new company and have to start the process again. still waiting for my deposit refund. got docked around for about 7+ months.

their solar quotes reviews look good so maybe I was a one off, but the customer service was abysmal.

    • Thanks for sharing your experience. It does help to know that you got your deposit locked in regardless of reasons for change of plan and there is no response from the company.

    • Hi mate,

Really sorry to hear this. I can assure you that we have a policy where if we dont do the install, the deposit is paid back to the customer. We have many customers who pay the whole amount after installation as well. Many on OZB can vouch for this fact too.

We currently do not have any customer who has requested for a refund. If you are in the category, please do reach out to us ([email protected]) and we will action whatever steps are required.

  • Hi, I am interesting on this deal however my home haven’t built yet, start building late this month. It’s a 2 storey home. Any suggestions?

    • Deposit and book for installation 2 months later?

  • What about if PowerCor is accepting 0kW export = no export at all ?

    • Hey mate,

Generally those export limitations are temporary until the grid upgrades are completed in your local area. Hard to put an exact date on how long those export limitations are in place. Could be up to 6 months (could be less). I would contact PowerCor for a more clear understanding.

We could still install with an export limiter (energy consumption monitoring meter).

  • i sent a request through the webform earlier in the week and havent heard anything back

    • Hi mate,

We have been inundated with requests! Getting to each and everyone of you atm :)

If you want to speed up the process, feel free to give us a call on 1300 516 250.

      • +1

let me retract this. i had a voicemail from you guys that i hadnt listened to. thank you for promptly responding

  • Jinko or Longi?
Any benefits of getting Fronius over a lower end like Sungrow?

    • Jinko/ Longi/ Trina are very much the same. Similar warranty, build quality, efficiency etc. Usually choice is based on personal taste.

Fronius is the brand, European manufactured and hence an attached premium. Sungrow has performed exceedingly well over the last couple of years. I would say Sungrow is a great alternative to Fronius.

  • Anyone keen on referring me to Pristine Solar using the Referral Program?

  • Hi do you provide energy meter with this deal or do we have to pay extra for that, also how much extra do you charge if it’s a double storey house.

  • How much extra to have consumption monitoring included?

    • Hi mate, the Fronius smart meter is $380 more.

      Cheers
