Is $200 a Good Price for Bose QC 25? (New)

I considered buying these a couple of years ago but didn't, now they're discontinued.

I was in a store today buying something else, I saw a few of them on the wall and asked about them. The store doesn't deal in Bose anymore and these are the last few which I guess have been gathering dust for a little while. Price tag is $400 (IIRC that was more than they usually went for when they were still around, so whatever), sales guy said he can do 1/2 price.

Any opinions?

  • For some reason I did not think to do the obvious and search for previous posts for this model before I asked the question. Looks like they were going for between $150 and $200 when other places were clearing them out.

Still I anyone has any comment, feel free. Thanks

I would wait and pay a little more for the qc35 or xm3 seeing as their price had dropped well below $250 in the past.

  • It should be under $150 by now.

  • rather go for QC35, quite often you can score them for $300ish

    • and at 300$ the sonys are a much better choice

  • I have an old pair of qc25s, never use them anymore as the 35s are much better. Plus no bluetooth on the 25s. For your money, spend a bit more on 35s or XM as another poster has suggested

    • You can buy BT dongle for QC25 and those arent cheap. So yeah if you want BT, QC35 is the better choice. Personally I liked QC25 coz it uses AAA battery.

      • I always have micro USB cables around (to charge qc35), never have AAA batteries. And once you go bluetooth it's hard to go back to wired headphones. The bluetooth add on dongles for qc25 are hit and miss, and another thing to lose or charge up. QC25 was good for its time, but that was 7 years ago now

  • $280 for QC35 II atm I would go them !
