Bought a $700+ Gerni just under 5 yrs ago to replace a 12+ year old Karcher. Worked great for about 4 years, then suddenly stopped pumping water through. Took it to the repairer under warranty who said it's not uncommon, and now that Ozito are the distributor for Gerni in Australia they are making it very difficult to sort out under the original 5 year warranty.
Ymmv. Good while it worked, but they don't seem to have great longevity.
Bought a $400 Gerni 10 years ago. Still going strong.
Repairer told me they used to be better - common trend it seems.
Glad yours is working well though, great machines when they're doing their job.

TLDR, the 1800PSI is at the lower end for optimal snow foam, so im waiting for a slightly higher model to go on sale. Karcher is plastic pump, so avoid.Huh…..so that's why my $100 Karcher makes crappy snow foam. Well crap.

Don't go too high, as apparently 3000PSI is about where it would start stripping the paint Of course someone with a 3000PSI or stronger pressure washer will have to verify that claim….
I suppose if you have a petrol or diesel powered washer, you could vary the throttle, and thus RPM of the engine so that it doesn't force over 3000PSI when you have more than 3000PSI of operating pressure, verifying with some sort of pressure gauge inline with the pipes so you know how much pressure is coming out of the nozzle…. Don't know if you can do that on a electric powered washer….or if it's instant max PSI on the get go with no way to vary PSI rating depending on cleaning job….
Companies with bad reviews like this shouldn't be on Ozbargain do what others have done and price match elsewhere
