  edit - should clarify 4& 2 year old in the cars they use my old S5 phones for kids youtube & netflix.

    yeah its a fantastic tablet, here are my notes for you:
    -quad speaker gets incredibly loud so its quite suitable for in car no earphones although probably not fun for the driver
    -been playing bloons td6 on it and it performs great (bloons is pretty performance intensive on long games)
    -despite running OneUI core it does come with Samsung Kids which is a separate lockable launcher so you can have control of what your kids have access to and kids versions of many apps like the browser, gallery, camera etc

  Bought this model for $220 from Amazon US last month. It's pretty good for email, browsing, Netflix.

  This Samsung Galaxy A7 32GB Wi-Fi vs Lenovo 10.1" Yoga Smart 64GB Wi-Fi Tablet https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/604457 For under $300 which one is a bettery buy? Primarily for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, facebook, whats app Video calling, Browsing etc. No Gaming or Work. Experts pls advise.

    the Lenovo one doesnt support Netflix HD and the resolution is better on the Samsung. I like the build of the Lenovo though, tempted to get that but for reading ebooks the Samsung would be much better due to the much higher res.

    The Lenovo has a nice kickstand and can act as a Google smart display.

      Thanks, primarily i need only for media and video calls. I think lenovo has more RAM but samsung has better CPU.

    Personally not a fan of the barrel handle on lenovo tablets. Yes it makes holding them one handed sort of comfortable, but it also makes the device awkward in any other situation. The kickstand is also pretty useless.

      Back up to $369.98 now unfortunately.
      Drops price every few weeks so keep an eye on it.
      Upgraded both kids tablets from the A6 2016 version as theirs was only 16gb and kept running out of space with all their games, and it's a fairly decent improvement over the last model.
