I was submitting an order this morning and noticing most of my $15 - $20 off codes that I could find weren't working, so naturally I just kept spamming common phrase codes to see if anything worked.

SAVE20 gave me 20% off my order which is very good and brings the meals closer to YF prices (I picked up 16 meals for $135 delivered) but having used both I can say that MMC blows YF out of the water in taste, macros and portion sizes. If you sub you can get free delivery and cancel the sub after the fact which would bring the meals to around $120 for 16 ($7.50 ea) depending on which meals you pick.

Don't forget Cashrewards etc on top for that little bit extra. I've used coupon codes before and it hasn't caused any problems before. Plus because I don't actually have a MMC account it always seems to pay at the 7% rate.

  I used to eat these like 3 years ago, they are tasty from what I remember.

  But I now live in a unit and they don't call or buzz when the food arrives, so I am scared someone will steal the package

    I also live in an apartment and have done for the past few years. Never had one go missing, nor any of our other mail which gets left at the door or inside the door touch wood. Unfortunately though in their T&C it says if it is stolen it basically isn't their problem which is a bit rough imo. They do have pickup locations though I believe.

    It's a very valid concern and I urge people to tread with caution here. Though not MMC, I had a package from YouFoodz that was stolen. It was left at the front (very, very front) because it was delivered at 3am and someone on their "midnight" jog just up and got it.

  Far too much plastic!
  They pack everything into “recyclable” plastic trays that definitely lend up in land fill, as they are contaminated with food.
  I will consider meals like that when companies realise the damage the do with all the plastic they use without any conscience whatsoever…

    a) just rinse it before dropping in the recycle
    b) what councils are so lazy that they just divert to landfill anything with a smidgeon of food on it? Here in BNE the council even accepts pizza boxes with cheese on them for recycle.

    This is more of an education issue than a MMC issue.

    Yes the trays are recyclable, but a lot of people are not aware that you need to rinse food from pretty much all recyclables for them to be accepted.

  They used to be good years ago before they reduced their portion sizes. Some meals dropped from 510g to like 300-350 for the same price or more.

  I ended up ordering anyway to try out some new meals like a year or so back and it wasn’t good. Meals taste ok but macros are way off, a few of the meals barely had any meat - I even weighed some of the chicken of one meal and it was like 40g but the meal supposedly had over 60g of protein? Didn’t add up.

    Protein exists in things other than meat. I find that they have far more meat in them that any other meal provider anyway

      Yeah I know but whatever it contained could in no way make up the rest of the missing grams of protein. I took pics and if I can find them I'll post them. It was a ridiculous portion size so prob an error in their manufacturing process. I had a few meals like that in the order and it was enough to make me not want to order again. I even let them know about it and never heard back which was odd.

      In saying that, I think they are the best ones out there although I haven't tried gym meals direct yet.

    I only started using MMC in November last year, I haven't had any issues with portion sizes and the meat has always been sufficient. I can't really comment if they have gotten any better from what you describe apart from no issues on my end.

  How did you keep getting the 7% discount rate from Cashrewards as a non-member of MMC? Don't you have to be to get MMC in the first place?

    I’ve just used a guest checkout but can confirm of my last three orders they paid at 7% and two of those cash back has been confirmed and paid.

    In the checkout there is a code option, I wouldn't use the referral as it won't stack. The referral only gives you $20 off too, as opposed to 20% so this is a better deal.

        Hmm I am not too sure as I have never subscribed. I am regularly away for work so I only order when I know I will be home to grab it and also when I know they won't go to waste.
