Interesting goods at Flemington market’s. I found Powerbeats pro discounted to $40. The guy selling them said very good price. I was tempted to show him rrp from jb but couldn’t be bothered.
Also saw a few boys in blue patrolling, obviously passing the time. Not much cracking down on counterfeit goods.

No need for buying fakes from the web as if you live in Sydney plenty of knock offs to be had at the market.

Powerbeats pro $40. Now that’s a bargain. lol.

    • Didn’t realise I offended ppl by my comment.
Was it people ripping off those companies with Chinese knock offs and ripping off Australians with cheap fake crap.
Police turned blind eye to illegal activities.
My joke about the bargain beats.
      Amuse me please!

      • What offence is being committed that should involve the police?

    DON'T BUY IT!
got one and after 1 year all the glue that holds everything together is realising all the parts, apple is refusing to do anything about it… is my 2Âş beats headphone that something like this happens!

    • Push them on "Acceptable Quailty" under
consumer law. For the high price they charge they need to pay.

        I tried everything
Since they are not an Australia company, they don't "need" to go with Australia consumer law…
I got the headphones with optus and even involved my lawyer on it, after 5 months, they gave me a full refund…

        • In my (limited) knowledge, all companies trading in Australia need to abide by Australian Consumer Law, including Apple:

Apple Products and Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. The contractual rights that you may be entitled to under the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ are in addition to these statutory rights. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Same thing happened to mine 2 months out of warranty and I tried to demand replacement under acceptable quality. Even went full Karen and demanded the manager.

Anyway they continued to refuse and I left the apple ecosystem completely.

  • thanks for sharing experiences.

it looked good until that happened he he
