Is There a Cheap Sim Only Plan, Barely Need The Data

Barely need data, maybe just 2 gigs a month. Calls and texts are whatever, definitely don't need for international. Really just want to keep my phone number. Looked at Optus, pretty much expensive for the cheapest available.

  • Dodo 5 bucks is cheap but no data/mms

  • Activate a telstra prepaid 30$ During their data-bonus promotion (20gb), and change it to lifelong (30$ for 180 days).

    • change it to lifelong (30$ for 180 days).

How would I go about doing this?

    • But that plan charges 30 cents per minute and 30 cents for text.

Belong $10/mth, 1GB data. Activate on the 40GB starter pack for $20 @ Coles in the 1st month. Gradually use up 40GB banked data in 40 months according to your usage. You get 1GB/mth from the $10/mth plan.

Amaysim on Optus is $12/mth with 2GB, ongoing rate.

$10ish/mth for unlimited talk/txt plus 1-2GB is pretty much the mimimum that a Telco want to deal with a customer.

    365 day expiry

    $5 credit included.

    Update:

All at great rates. If you notice you’re using your phone more often, you can add a Mobile Plan at any time to unlock unlimited standard calls and SMS and a generous data allowance for 30 days. Even better, when you add a Mobile Plan, your PAYG plan is extended for another 365 days! Now that’s something to call home about.
