    What case do you have?

According to the spec page these fans arent that good in terms of airflow and static pressure, which is important for a case with a restrictive front intake. If you are ok with that, then these fans will work just fine.

          ok thanks

  • They'll do just fine. Also if you have Asus Aura or MSI Mystic Light Sync, they're compatible according to their website: https://aerocool.io/product/duo-12/

As for your motherboard, the B450 Max, they'll work as they have PWM mode. Check page 33 of the manual here: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B89v1.1.pdf

And Aerocool says pin 2 should do voltage and pin 4 should do PWM, which is what your headers do in PWM mode: https://aerocool.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/PWM-Compatibi…

    • Thank you much appreciated

Is this the forum section? It feels like the forum section.

    • Why?

      • Yeah, what?!

    • Read the description hes posted, hes asking for help, not posting a deal.

Are these compatible with asrock polychrome?

These have a 6 pin combined pmw and argb header?

    • +1

Fans connect to hub via 6-pin, hub connects to motherboard via 4-pin PWM cable and seperate ARGB cable, motherboard controls PWM and ARGB.

      • So you need the hub to control the fans as they arent the standard pins for standard controllers. They never said anything about polychrome control on their website, so if it worked, surely you'd mention it?

        • I don't see any issue with Polychrome not working with these fans. But if you need a guarantee, get Centre Com to say it will work in writing.

  • In for one! I need a new RGB controller, mine has a broken SATA power connector.

  • Can you piggy back 2 sets of these so they're all controlled together?

  • Replace all brown noctua fans with these ;)

ugh.. the noctua's probably have much better air pressure / CFM. I'm thinking of replacing the RGB fans I bought for my build last year as I'm finding they don't shift enough air unless at 100% on hot summer days.

  • ARGB and RGB are not the same, different plugs, different voltages.

The MSI B450m Mortar Max only has RGB, so these fans will only work as well as the controller allows. (As far as the lights go).

You won't be able to control the lights VIA the motherboard, only with the remote, so you won't be able to have any reactive features, IE some games can control the lights, or adjusting the colors based on CPU temp.
