Cheap parking @ Sydney for NYE fireworks celebration?

  Your local railway station. Plenty of free untimed parking around train stations after 6 pm (Strathfield is midday!).

  Trains run all night.

    Took your advice on parking near the train station, worked like a charm! Instead of stratfield, I parked near the fireworks.

  plenty of road closures in sydney im sure, i'd be staying away from syney cbd if it were me.

    Was alot of closures. Absolute nightmare on Pacific highway. But after that was pretty good.
