yes they do expire after sometime if you dont add any tokens

a bit doggy way … if you have 25 emails address, then get 20 Tokens each as referring bonus, total up to 500 tokens, it can be happened in the next day …. but it will still cost you 25 codes
The other thought, if you or your family drink enough coke everyday, why not just open two or three accounts and then it wouldnt be limited by 10 codes per week ??

I just registered, there was nowhere for me to put someone's account as a 'referring account', so I'd say Coke have jumped all over this and shut it down.
coxy you click inside an email sent to you from Coke and then register from that as someones referral, you dont need to enter there email or anything once you click it. Not really, when you can get 2L bottles for $2.50, but most places sell 600mL bottles for $3.50+. It's fair enough to just make it 10 codes for each.
I buy the 1.25L bottles when they are on special, sometimes 3 for $5.

I got a towel a while ago. The one described now is bigger. I claimed 2 more towels b4 they went up to 500 (sorta regret that) but hoping they will send me the bigger size and I will feel better about missing these phones and gift cards.

Umm not everyone is starting from scratch, some people have tokens saved up.
They would already know this then and it wouldn't bother them. New people to the promotion wouldn't have a clue what "1000 tokens from CokeUnleashed" would require.
Of course it could be worded differently like- "To get 1000 Tokens means you need to buy 100 bottles of coke to enter, maximum 10 bottles per week".
Maybe we should tie your shoelaces for you and wipe your @r$e as well?

for those that lost their points after 90 days, did you get an email warning? if not, you should have..contact coke and let em know it's in the FAQ and if u can have ur points back. if it doesn't work tell em you'll switch to pepsi for the summer and their t-shirt promo.

What incentive is there for new people to start accumulating points now, knowing the deal will be over by the time they get 1000 points?

It adds up if you keep adding over time. I drink 2-3 little bottles of coke a week.
You get 10 tokens for buying a coke. It takes little effort to enter a code onto the site. Why would you not make the most out of something you got for free? They're showing you what you can get - it should serve as an incentive ;)
I've been registered with cokeunleashed since it began and enter my codes every week. I drink coke and also grab labels off some bottles I see around the place; ie lazy people who litter. The program has been going for a while now allowing me to pick up some great rewards. I had over 1000 points there today and was able to grab a phone. The rewards change all the time; it's not a scam or anything it just takes a little time and effort to get great stuff for FREE!! That's enough incentive for me.
I had the points already. Up until November or so your points didn't expire so collecting was easier, I suppose. Been collecting points since the original promotion of winning a PS3 so probably a year now.
I get my 'points' from my workmates, I only drink caffeine free so it is hard to find points with caffeine free.

Like I said above, there is minimal effort on your part. If you already drink coke, what's the harm?
