Why not just 25% off across the board? Who buys 3 dining chairs? Your 'better yet' is not better, it's still 25% off.

  Hi, you're right 3 isn't a common amount to buy. That's why we are offering 4 for the price of 3. We've noticed that 4 and 8 are common quantities for dining chairs.
  
  Buy 3, get 1 free (total of 4 chairs)
  Buy 6, get 2 free (total of 8 chairs)
  
  You're also right it works out to be 25%. We do run other promotions from time to time that are a % off regardless of number purchased. But not at the moment.
