Inconsistent moderation in For Sale/Swap forum?

I listed some Marlboro Gold ciggies in the For Sale/Swap forum.

states:

Private sale of alcohol and tobacco (Prohibited by law)

Yet this thread is allowed to kick about:

And also this:

Just think that the Mods could be a little more consistent?

Perhaps the banned items list should be in the sticky at the top of the Selling/Swapping page?

the mods cant see everything dude…thats why they ask people to report and not just vote neg

  Perhaps that the Sale/Swap forum should be more frequently checked by mods, then? After all, dodgy deals are shut down relatively quickly because more people pass through and subsequently report them. Sales/swap forum is not visited as often as General Discussion etc., and (I think) even less people know that selling those items privately is prohibited. A link to the banned items list would be beneficial, I think.

    This is a community - the report button was instigated so people can alert mods to incorrect posts, in both the main board and the forums. The report button is far more effective than the negative vote in most cases as Mods can use their exclusive powers (Holy Cow Batman weeps!)

It's pretty obvious we have a vendetta against you shawn_low or… we just didn't see those threads.

They have now been removed. Private sales of tobacco or alcohol are against the law.

If any other alcohol or tobacco sales are seen, hit the report button.
