Dolphin torches are so 1970s, 1980s perhaps.

If you really need to use these still, the Vartas are a much better option.

The carbon zinc (like this one) is only $3.98.
Even the alkaline which will last longer is cheaper at $7.74

Dolphin torches used to great when I was a tradie years ago - their square shape meant they wouldn't roll away when you had them set up to point at what you were working on. They are quite indestructible too, you could drop them from great heights and they would still work.

I think they have had their day though, the advent of LED torches in all shapes and sizes, not to mention their low power consumption have made the Dolphin pretty redundant.

How many to power a Tesla and do I buy the batteries first or the car?

      You would need a trailer.

When I go camping with the kids, they’re still the best torches.

Can easily find them in the tent in the dark, can stand them up for good light, get dropped, and they still shine bright!

Never missed a beat in years, just a battery after every few trips.

The Dolphin 6 may contain traces of tuna, or so I've heard.
