11" Macbook Air 64GB, cheapest?

I'll be using it for iOS development (Xcode) and light browsing. On the U.S. store it's $999 anybody know where to get it cheaper?

Don't really want to do a Hackintosh setup.

The 11" Macbook Air 64GB/2GB model is selling in Singapore for S$1288. This is currently $971 AUD.

It's only slightly cheaper than $999USD ($977AUD), but another option nonetheless.

I cannot understand why these devices are so damn expensive in Australia (the same model is selling for $1099AUD at the moment). Does Apple take their customers for idiots?
