Oral B Smart 5000 $59, Oral B Pro 2 2000 $39 Click & Collect Only @ Priceline Pharmacy

1500

Edit: Both sold out online. Click & Collect only. Check to see if available in your area.

Someone recentally recommended the Oral B Pro 2 2000 as an all rounder toothbrush. I'd been searching randomly every other day and today found this deal on Priceline for $39 which is the cheapest I've seen.

I also stumbled upon the Smart 5 5000 for $59 which seems like a decent deal so I ended up getting that one.

Click & Collect or $9.95 shipping. I haven't really posted before so let me know if I've done this right.

No option to click & collect for me

    Thanks OP, bought one.

  •

5000 already out of stock, guessing it is a pricing error as $59 is not 1/2 price of $169

  •

Ordered 2 of the 2000s let's see if they honor it

  •

Wow that was quick. I was just reading up reviews to make sure.

  •

I also have been casually looking for oral-b pro 2 2000, so ordered one.

  •

Thanks op, have been waiting for a sale on these and that's a brilliant price; got 2 of the 2000s

  •

    Thanks OP, ordered one.

  •

    Thanks OP, great buy!

  •

Looks like Pro 2 2000 is out of shipping as well, can't find at my local store as well.

  •

    Everything O/S

What you can do is go and "find in your local store" for click and collect. I tried several shops until it worked on 5000. Just keep choosing other stores until you find one with stock. CC charged, so, we'll see how it goes.

Do you really need that many?

      • +1 vote

Only 4999, but rounded just so its not 666.߈

  •

Thanks OP! Was waiting on a deal for a new toothbrush. Anyone know if the 5000 is a lithium ion battery as well?

    •

If 2000 has it, which is cheaper, what would you think 5000 has, which is more expensive and has more features?

  •

    Thanks Op

  •

Cannot check local store on phone?

  •

priceline pacific weribee has the oral b 5000 left, if anyone around that area. Had no luck elsewhere in the western/northern suburbs of vic.

  •

OP managed to get the last 5000 from Chatswood Westfield in store.

Prices are correct as per website

  •

Is 5000 worthy it? Good bargain price but not sure if I really need it

  •

Damn, looking all over Brisbane City but no stores have either unfortunately.

    Great deal though.

I just got a 5000 at mount gravatt. Was lucky just kept changing store.

      •

Have you heard back from Mt Gravatt yet? I ordered mine about 30 mins after the deal was up but haven't gotten an email back from them yet with any updates

        •

No nothing. I was gonna call tomorrow

  •

    Thanks OP

Stupid how you can't search for stock in your nearest stores.

    •

      Agreed.

The gold standard: just show me stores with stock! Pretty sure no one offers that. Bizarre they stop me from giving them money.

      •

No, they want you to work hard for bargains 😉

        •

Just any products, though. Regardless of price. We put endless postcodes in, just to find a new ring of stores to show stock.
Shops like Jaycar show the staff member in store.

  •

Bought one from Priceline Parramatta today.. They only had two.. So only left one

  •

Nice, just got one from priceline Maroubra, yet to pick up but card charged.

  •

purchase one, but sad to find priceline's online payment doesn't support gift card payment

  •

  •

i bought the 800 from woolies last week, should i buy the 5000? what's the difference?

    •

better battery lion and some smart phone integration

  •

Got the 5000 but tbh wanted the 2000.

    •

      Why

      •

Don't need a toothbrush with bluetooth. Got a 2000 now too so will return the 5000.

  •

Amazing, thanks OP! Got the 2000 :)

  •

Bought the 5000, great deal. You have to be persistent in checking each store’s individual click and collect site to see who has it in stock.

For Adelaide based OzBargainers, no stock left in Glenelg, Marion, Harbour Town, Adelaide (Gawler Place) and Adelaide (Rundle Mall)

    Awesome OP!!

Tried to charge my 3 year old one yesterday and it won’t work. Perfect timing

Had to search a lot of stores, but finally able to C&C the last 2000 in Chatswood.

    Thanks OP got the 2000

    •

      Thanks mate.

Now got one of each need to decide on which to keep!

    •

They just called to check my order as had influx overnight

  •

Are either 2000 or 5000 suitable for 5yo?

    •

      2000.
      5000 is overkill and gimmicky.

      • +1 vote

True that. I have 5000 but feel bluetooth is a gimmick, barley used it. My housemate got 2 2000 recently.
The machine is almost same in both except the bluetooth.
In 5000 you get 4 brushheads, and 4 modes.
Pro 2 2000 : one brushhead, two modes.
        Battery life is same.

  •

    I managed to get 1 x Pro 2 2000. Thanks OP!

    Thanks OP, also got 1 x Pro 2 2000

    Great find!

Half the price of what shavershop has currently listed for both models…and they are already 50% off rrp at the shavershop

  •

Was finally looking to move over to electric and would have jumped on the first one that would show on Ozbargain. Guess Oral B Pro 2000 is the lucky one.

  • +1 vote

And just like that I impulse bought a $60 toothbrush 😂

    •

      You won't regret it. 😀

    •

Considering how much dental visits cost, it's a bargain if you care about your teeth.

    •

And refunded :( no stock in the store

  •

I'm fcken shattered… can't find it anywhere for local pick-up. 21st wedding anniversary tomorrow and nothing to give wifey… #FML

  •

Perhaps look for some bluetooth enabled toilet paper… Seems everything else has a bluetooth option!!

    •

If it does something useful then sure. This brush records your session so it's kind of useful data for some.

Thanks Op. Walked into the priceline near work and grabbed the last Smart 5000 that they had on their shelf.

  • +1 vote

I grabbed a 2000 just as this was posted last night. Just got an email this morning from priceline cancelling my order and they are issuing a refund. I think they got ozbargained pretty hard!

  •

Walked into my local Priceline Craigieburn and picked up the last Pro2 2000 on shelf for my wife. I had bought the same 2 weeks back for myself for $70 from Amazon and really liked it.

  •

Just got a call from the store saying they don’t have enough to fulfil the orders but he thinks it’ll be ready tomorrow. Feel I might be getting a cancel call soon :D

    •

I got a call this morning as well saying they don't have any stock but expect some soon if I want to wait. That's better customer service than I expected. Maybe I'm just used to poor customer service from the likes of tobydeals and banggood.

    • +1 vote

Update: went into the store to check and they had one there to give to me

  • +2 votes

I got an email saying my order is ready for pickup. I'm curious if maybe the cancellations are because some people swooped into the store before orders for click & collect could be filled.

    •

thanks again OP, just picked mine up.

  •

I got a call this morning saying that there was none left in stock and that I would have to come into the store to get my refund. Thirty minutes later, got an email saying that my order was ready for pickup. We'll see what happens I guess.

Just checked in-store at Wollongong - currently 2x5000 and 3x2000 in stock.

  •

Managed to find stock of the 5000 in Macquarie here in Canberra. Bought one, looks like there is at least one more as I could add another to the cart.

  • +1 vote

Ordered the pro-2000 and an hour later got a phonecall saying they were out of stock because they had a huge amount of orders overnight (I wonder where those came from!); but they expected to get more tomorrow. Very happy with that!

  •

Just checked out from Liverpool Westfield with no issue. Called up and they said my order will be available to collect tomorrow or latest Monday. Hope some helps for western sydneysiders

  •

I'm happy so far with the 5 5000. For $59 it seems like a steal. I'm a sucker for smart devices so being able to track how you're brushing will probably help me do it more. Definitely seems to be worth the extra $20.

  •

Looks like they've received the products from their site, as the URLs no longer work.

    •

I guess they got ozbargained hard

    •

*removed… fat fingers + phone + zero coffee

  •

2 left of the 2000 at Arndale SA.

  •

Got a call this morning this morning, staff said it was a price error

    • +1 vote

Interesting… I went to a local store and noticed the same price as this post, but no stock on the shelf.

      •

I went into a store and they tried to charge me full price.

Ended up getting one of each the 5000 doesn't just have Bluetooth it has a better charging station and more modes.

    •

Not a price error. Stores still have the same price - they just don't have stock.

  •

My local store cancelled my order as they said it’s out of stock. No option to wait until more stock arrives.

    • +2 votes

prob the staff snaffled them. check them pop up on ebay

  •

Those that got refund, did you have to visit the store to get refund or was it processed back to your card automatically?

  •

I got a note saying that it's out of stock and my order would be refunded even though I already picked it up. Not sure what's going on with their order system.

    •

Same, although it only happened at one of the stores I picked up from.

  •

My order was cancelled today. I had to call their support line to find that out.

    •

I got a follow up message from the store mentioning that they weren't able to source the toothbrush and that a refund has been processed.

Waiting for the next oral-b toothbrush alert from ozbargain…

  •

Cheers OP, managed to collect mine yesterday, got 1 of each from a store 30mins out of Perth lol
