Take on the role of ARID, the artificial intelligence onboard a high-tech combat suit. ARID's program activates after crashing on an unknown planet.         I literally started downloading like 3 of them yesterday lol. But obvs cause we live in Australia, only one has finished downloading lol

          Make sure to set a badwidth throttle in the Epic Launcher settings, or it WILL consume all and your entire connection will grind to a halt for everything else.

          The games are free, but the downloads are greedy!

            @Switchblade88: Haha yes I know that already. Everything seems already for now tho, but I'll definitely turn on the bandwidth throttle if I realise any issues.

            Tbh the most greedy part would be the requirements you need to run these games :)

            My 6-year-old Intel processor with integrated graphics is definitely not going to cut it. I got Watchdogs 2 and GTA, but I'm pretty sure only GTA would run "decently" if I lower the specs. Watchdogs would be a bit of a stretch sigh

              @Zackeroo: Suprisingly, most modern games run really well on anything from a 4770k onwards - it's usually a GPU issue that holds you back. If you can source a 1660 or something similar you'll get an excellent gaming improvement over your iGPU without having to upgrade your entire computer.

              Of course, with pricing of components so absurd nowdays it may be in fact cheaper to buy a whole new PC instead of just a single GPU!

                @Switchblade88: Yea lol I know that. Honestly, I got a PC with a 5600XT, and I could just play games on that, but I'm always on the move, and I use my laptop a LOT more than I use my PC. My PC is basically just used for BTC mining atm lol.

                And yea that's exactly right tho, I got a 2500K with this GPU, and it runs perfectly fine. I know it would definitely give me a slight FPS boost if I got a better processor, but atm, my aging 2500K runs decently with it :)

                So yea, thanks for the great advice, but I think I'll be alright haha. FYI, for anyone looking for a whole new PC, Techfast would probably be the way to go :)

        If the games are actually free like these are (as opposed to subscription stuff like GamePass or PS+ etc), then you don't actually have to play them to get value out of it. Pay $0, get 0 hours play out of them, you've got your money's worth :D You can just stare in satisfaction at the games in your library without ever actually downloading or playing any of them :P

    The Fall and its sequel are great games. Controls can be a bit awkward but the atmosphere, story and puzzles are surprisingly good.

      The Fall has been one of the very few games to convince me to buy the sequel on launch day, it was that good.
