Ozito 1250W 20L Wet and Dry Vacuum with Power Take off $59 C&C Only @ Bunnings

1610

Usually $99. This one is the Power Take Off version which means that it activates if there is load put on by another tool.

  • Power Take Off Socket
  • 20L Stainless Steel Tank
  • Wet & Dry Vacuuming
  • Blower Function
  • Space Saving Accessory Mount

This Ozito Wet & Dry Vac with power take off socket is ideal for cleaning dirt or liquid from around the garage, workshop or patio. With castors for greater mobility, and an easy transport carry handle, it’s great for cleaning up around the home and shed after renovations or DIY projects.

The power take off function automatically starts the vacuum when a connected power tool is switched on; simply plug the power tool into the integrated power socket and use the vacuum for dust extraction while you work. Wood shavings or leaves can also be blown into a pile for easy removal by connecting the hose to the blower port on the rear of the motor.

Other features include an easy clean stainless steel tank for durability and strength, a space saving accessory mount and a cable bracket to keep cables neat when not in use. The included floor tool attachment can be used on tiles and hard floors, whilst the crevice tool allows you to vacuum in hard to reach areas.

The box says it has a max suction of 180 millibar.

      • Great tip thanks! Got my receipt reprinted!

  • Can you add hepa filter do this or the Ryobi?

    • If you can find the same size filter, I don't see why not.
Here the ALDI one wins out as it already comes with one, according to happydragon.

I used this to clean the carpets in my car with a wet sponge with cheap coles detergent. I didn't use any specialised cleaners. Came up really clean and with a car wash smell!

The water that came out was super muddy full of grime. Can't believe I didn't do this before.

I suggest this type of cleaning on daily driver cars on a yearly basis.

    • did you use the standard attachment that came with it, or one specific for carpets?

      • no attachment. Just the bare hose and just held it and moved it with a 90 degree angle digging into the carpet. There is a carpet attachment for $7 at bunners though.

  • Sold out even before it could revert back to $99.

Ozito at Aldi?? Don't think so.

      • No mate! They meant the ALDI Ferrex model.

  • Not much more now: $65.

And the 12L one is $50.

    • Different product.

    • Not much more now: $65.

Different model number: VWD-1220. Note the missing -PT at the end. This model does not have the power take-off function.

And the 12L one is $50.

This is the RRP for this model. Not a deal.

      • Right! Didn't notice that. Do I need it, though? I was looking into to it to wash carpets.

  • I've found the suction on this to be pretty woeful. Considering a return. An I doing something wrong? Seems weaker than my old Dyson v6

    • I would say yes or it's faulty. The Force is strong in mine, it's compact and so light, great for transporting around. Very happy with it.

    • Mine has got very good suction. See this video here, it might help troubleshoot yours https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqHCShoq1uI&t=150s
