I like it, as a case it isn't bad, I usually get a spigen one so I don't feel that it protects much less. As an LED cover its nice, but I usually have my phone facing up so I don't see it often. Its one of those luxury things, where I'll put it face down and the cover just twinkles everywhere and just looks sooo exxy and usually you'll get the occasional person thats like "ooo ooo thats so cool" which to be honest is half the reason I got it lol.
I can definitely see usefulness with the countdown camera. Keep in mind others can sometimes see what you're doing too, like if I put the volume up or down people can see I'm doing it on the train.
Overall as I have the phone face down I wouldn't call it "useful" but if you have extra cash to splash I super enjoy putting it down and it twinkling each time.
