Which Shipping Service Is Reliable and Cost Effective to Ship Items to India

My in-laws were stuck here in Melbourne for more than a year. We were, till now, avoiding the expensive tickets of the charted and/or repatriation flights but couldn't wait more. They travelled back now, in a charted flight.

As it wasn't planned for them to stay here that long, they had to buy the clothes as the weather demanded, and many other things which they liked here.

Now, there is a box full of things, weighing over 20KG, which they couldn't take with them and we need to find a way to ship that to India.

Anyone here knows which service is more reliable and cost effective?

So far I have found 2 options -

  1. AusPost - they have a max limit of 20KG per box costing ~A$230 per box. It would cost A$460

  2. DTDC Australia - they have 30KG limit per box and one box would be sufficient for us. Costing $A345

When I searched for DTDC's reviews, it didn't look good.

Can someone please help with more options and their reviews?

Thanks!

You will get a quote from different freight company

    • thanks mate but it seems they only have UPS and TNT to compare the rates with.

UPS has very bad reviews and TNT is too expensive. I'll need to shop around more.

      Thanks anyways!

Did you try DHL? I used them once to ship couple of items. They are very reliable and fast. The pricing was ok for me but the customs and taxes ended up being more than the shipping costs. In my opinion only send them if they are worth the shipping costs
