40% off Coffee ($9 - $30) + Free Shipping over $50 @ Grand'Cru Coffee

71

Hey OzBargain! We're back with 40% off coffee, and wanted to share it with you all.

In addition to this, we're now offering all leftovers from cafe roasts to the general public. If you prefer a more mature age in your espressos, pourovers and french press, we would recommend purchasing this stock over our fresher batches. Best before the end of April if stored in an airtight container in a cool location out of direct sunlight.

We're a specialty coffee roaster in Sydney. Our passion is coffee, and we aim to share it through our craft of roasting and pouring the perfect cup. Our certified specialty blends are crafted with the barista in mind and will give you a coffee experience unparalleled by supermarket coffee.

Happy brewing all!

Hey OzBargain! We're back with 40% off coffee

So how much for a cappuccino ?

    • +4

      Hi jv,

We sell coffee beans, we'd have a hard time shipping a cappuccino to you!

How long will the special be for? I'm still trying to get through my current coffee beans so I'd prefer to hold off buying more for a little longer. Also, any recommended beans? Our drink of choice is strong lattes. Cheers

      Hey charmed_tiger6,

The special will be on for the next 30+ days :). All of our blends are designed to cut through milk beautifully, however my personal favourite is Brawn Douglas :)

+1 for the banner on the linked page.

    Hi rep,

are we allowed to order for differed roasting and grinding at a later stage down the track? Still have a kilo to go through from a previous order and would like to be able to sample your beans as fresh as possible :)

    • Hi thegazette,

The promotion should be on 30+ days from now. Ideally we prefer orders to be processed ASAP, but if you do want to order now and to receive it later, leave us an order note and we'll put it on hold until the requested ship date.

Disrespectful company to the customer. They need you to provide full details to tell you how much will cost the postage.
Pure bad Australia's business keen to collect unnecessary info about you even before you agree to buy anything from them.

    • Hi simb24,

In what way have we been disrespectful? We aim to provide the best service and product to our customers, so we'd like to make the appropriate reparations in the case we have been disrespectul.

In order for Australia Post to calculate your postage, they need to know you address & post code. This is not a regulation set by us, but rather a requirement for Australia Post to provide you with an accurate postage cost.

      Have a great day.

However few steps below you claim that you changed it and now asking just post code! It meant that you'd collected unnecessary info and forced your customers to give it. Why I should provide to you my full address, if for it enough only post code?
Downvoted me? I things that it from persons, who do not hesitate to publish their naked pics on instagram, leave alone home address. Not all Australians keen to do it.

        • I think you got down-voted for your inappropriate use of a negative vote.

    • I was able to enter address details without registering or entering any other info to see the postage price.

Whilst I don't think this is neg-worthy, I agree that this practice is dodgy. A lot of companies do it, and I choose not to buy anything from any of them. If I can't check postage by simply putting in my postcode I walk away. I do not want my details on a data base if I choose not to become a customer.

      • Hi heal,

Please rest assured that your details are only stored if you sign up for an account or place an order :)
Your details aren't stored until you place the order or create an account.

        • Thanks, and that's good to know. You never know whether your information will be stored or not. It might be a good idea to adjust your website so customers can quickly check by postcode. I don't really need any coffee and TBH it's too much effort putting in all those details to check postage. Just my 2c.

            @heal: Hi heal,

Already made that change just now.

            Thanks for your suggestion.

            Have an awesome day.

Thanks for sharing the special. Just ordered 2 kilos… Man we drink too much of this stuff. The negs on this thread sound like they're going through caffeine withdrawals. Maybe send them a sampler to settle them down LOL

      Thanks for your purchase!

We would love to, but they wouldn't like us knowing their address.

      Happy brewing :)

I just received the coffee but I ordered fine ground not whole beans… Grrr. Have sent through the enquiry on the website but the order is 21003

Do you have any recommendations for which would go well as black filter coffee? Thanks!

    • +1

      Hi kicha,

For a full-bodied experience, try Brawn Douglas or Grandeur blends. If you're looking for something to enjoy by itself, a more floral single such as Ethiopia Shipo or Nicaragua Jintoega would be up your alley!

  • +1

Any recommendations on what bean to try for a cold brew?

    • Hi Millejos,

We would recommend Brawn Douglas if you want something more chocolatey, and any of the Single Origins, particularly Colombia Paicol or Ethiopia Shipo.

  • +1

Got 2kg. See how it goes.

  • Are your Single Origins roasted for espresso ? Looking to try Nicaragua and Colombia

  • When is the last day of promo?
