PowerA Fusion Pro Xbox One Controller

Hi All,

Hope all is well.
I owned an Elite Series 2 controller for about 9 months playing Warzone pretty much daily, really great controller and enjoyed my time with it.
The RB button stopped working like 90% of the time so I took it back to JB to get a replacement, turns out they haven't had stock for a while, haven't received any stock for a while and won't get any in till like mid to late April (store staff didn't know, but that is what it says on their website).

Anyways, ended up getting a refund instead (split on card and a gift card return because that it what I had used) so couldn't go directly to EB who had stock and buy one there.

I am now playing on K&M but suck and looking at getting the PowerA Fusion Pro. It is cheaper and looks like it does the same job. Looking for any community feedback from gamers that have this controller as didn't find too much online. Is it comparable to the Series 2 controller? - the only difference I can see is that it does not have the adjustable thumbstick tensions, rest of the set up looks very similar.

I can see it is on sale at EB at the moment for 159 (https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/xbox-one/255851-power-a-x…) and Mvave for 119 (https://www.mwave.com.au/product/powera-fusion-pro-wired-con…).

Any ideas on Mwave returns policy? Are they easy to deal with if issues arise with the controller or should I just pay a bit more and deal with EB if I have issues?

  • Not sure on this particular controller but I've found third-party licensed controllers to be pretty crap. They don't feel quite right and breakdown/develop issues quickly.
My experience is with low end, cheaper stuff (still PowerA branded) but I always recommend first-party for any controller.

If you do decide to get it, try price matching mwave at EB games.

    • oh this is a good idea, I didn't know I could match at EB against Mwave.
